Born in the concrete jungles of babylon USA, Tubby Love’s life experience is woven into a unique blend of roots rock reggae. His music is a passionate testimony of unity and the challenges of separation, bridging the gap between artist and audience. With honest engaging lyrics and an energizing presence, Tubby Love has cross-genre appeal and represents a soulful expression of truths both personal and universal.
Sharing the stage with musical inspirations like John Brown’s Body, Nahko and Medicine for the People, and The Wailers in recent past, and collaborating with artists such as Cas Haley, Dustin Thomas, and Paul Izak as well as releasing a full collaboration album (Love is Alive) featuring bands like Passafire, Dopapod, and Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, Tubby Love embraces the intersection of modern day music while refining his own voice as a solo performer. Looking forward to deepening and expanding his roots in 2014, Tubby Love will be touring Costa Rica, Indonesia, Australia, Hawaii and the mainland United States in the months to come, with plans for new releases and continued community activism.

“It’s wildly refreshing to hear a song that conveys a real message and addresses current problems in society rather than building around a catchy chorus that means nothing at all.”
“A talented artist driven by passion, working independently to create new and clever music in a unique package. From genre-bending tunes to his social message of universal love and positivity, to inventive career development, this is anything but your typical touring musician.”
“You’d be hard-pressed to find an artist as overtly making music for the right reasons as Tubby Love. “Passionate” is a word that only hints at the fire that is Tubby…”
