Dances of Universal Peace
Adora Deva

The Dances of Universal Peace are a beautiful spiritual practice, a Meditation of Divine Light and Bliss, inspired by the world’s many wisdom traditions.

We move around the circle, sometimes from partner to partner, allowing our thoughts to fall away as we experience the Divine in each other and ourselves.

As we connect, we do simple, graceful movements while focusing on the positive words of these powerful chants and songs, from many traditions and languages, accompanied by live music.

When we sing and dance we embody these moving prayers.

Samuel L. Lewis Mystic, Sufi Master, Zen Teacher, Peace Activist, Horticulturist, Scientist is the originator of the Dances of Universal Peace. Murshid Samuel Lewis offered Sufi teachings to the young people and hippies of the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1960s and they have spread too many other countries around the world.
