This playshop is about process-oriented art instead of product-oriented art. Come and explore the materials provided and see where they take you! This completely open-ended playshop is for children of all ages, as well as adults who consider themselves children at heart.

Maya Sequoia is a heart centered childcare provider that has worked with a spectrum of different children of all abilities for the past six years ranging from ages 2 to 17. Maya is currently studying Early Childhood Education and is a preschool teacher in Santa Cruz, CA. She is a child at heart and believes that all children (as well as adults!) should be encouraged to cultivate their playfulness, exploration, inner creativity, love, nature awareness and self healing as she believes this is so often discouraged in children in our society today. Her dream is to one day open her own preschool, which specializes in nature awareness and earth based education! She invites all to come play with her!

Sean Basalyga is the founder of Realize Culture; a self published visionary skate zine that promotes positivity through artistic expression. Last year he spent the summer traveling and studying visionary art with Alex Grey, teaching nature connection and artistic expression to children at Omega Institute, and teaching a young shamens herbal playshop at Lucidity.
