Amritakripa creates enchanting a groove-infused kirtan with a unique blend of African, Turkish and swirling psychedelic elements. She has chanted with such pioneer artists as Bhagavandas, Krishna Das, Wah and David Stringer. ‘Moving prayer’ in the form of sacred dance and bhajan, Amritakripa brings an air of Tibetan chanting, East Indian music and tribal African rhythms to their sounds. They have been called the pioneers of Afro-acid rock, blending African dance rhythms with rock music. She has been the Late Night featured artist at Shakti Fest, Bhakti Fest and Joshua Tree Music Festival over the last several years.
